Let’s start off with some free music!
Mentz recently pointed me to the MondayJazz website. This collective brings you a fresh blend every monday containing what they call “a careful selection of newjazzbreakfunkfusion hiptriphopbrokendubsoul tunes which happens to be alternative for the mass pseudo-culture”.
And they pretty much hit the spot right on with that explanation. Every mix is about 45 to 60 minutes and it’s filled with tracks and artists you’ve probably never heard of. The compilations are a lighting example of how much high quality beat-related music is going around now, whether it be for purchase or just freely downloadable.
